FirstWatch Partners, LLC (“FirstWatch,” “we,” “us”) operates this website at firstwatch.vc. This policy explains what we collect when you use the contact form on this site, how we use it, and how to reach us with questions or requests.

What we collect

When you complete the contact form on this site we record the information you provide: your name, email address, location, phone number (when you provide it), and the content of your message. If you indicate you are pitching a company, we additionally record a short description of the company and the round size you are seeking. If you opt in to our mailing list or events list, we record those preferences.

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which performs an automated check to confirm you are a human visitor. Turnstile does not personally identify you and does not require persistent tracking cookies. The site automatically records the IP address and browser user-agent string associated with each submission for security audit purposes.

How we use it

We use the information you provide only to respond to your message, deliver the mailing list communications you have explicitly opted in to, and notify you about events you have expressed interest in attending. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are stored in a database operated on our behalf by Cloudflare. Outbound email is delivered through Resend (resend.com). Both providers act as data processors under our direction; their own privacy policies and security practices govern how they handle the data we transmit through them.

Mailing list and unsubscribe

If you opt in to our mailing list, you will receive a confirmation email and must click the link inside to confirm your subscription before you are added. Every email we subsequently send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also request removal at any time by replying to any email from us.

Events list

If you opt in to be notified about future FirstWatch events, we add you to a separate events-invitation list. Event invitations are sent on a per-event basis. You can ask to be removed at any time by replying to any invitation we send or by contacting us through the form on this site.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies for analytics, tracking, or advertising. Cloudflare Turnstile may set short-lived technical cookies that are required to perform its bot challenge.

Retention

We retain submissions in our database for as long as we maintain a reasonable business interest in keeping a record of communications you have initiated with us. You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us through the form on this site.

Securities disclosure

Nothing on this website constitutes an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security. Any offering will be made only by means of definitive offering documents to qualified investors who are United States accredited investors as defined under applicable securities laws.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised. Material changes will be communicated to anyone who has provided contact information through this site.
